Highly recommend! A unique and really cool language school! They use a personalised teaching method, unusual but very effective. You can see the progress very quickly. The teachers are very nice and the price is very fair.
I highly recommend insula! I started the Intensive courses from A1.2 to B2.3 (in 8 months more or less). Learning a language has never been so fun and fast (also online). All the teachers are very good and nice and they always find a way to make us memorize the grammar rules. They give efficient and practical methods to speak and write better and better. Fantastic school, and after trying many in the area i found this school to be the best. The teachers are fantastic and enthusiastic and made each lesson fun and thoroughly enjoyable. You can even do a trial lesson first so doesn't cost anything! Costs are extremely reasonable for evening and intensive.
Insula is a great language school to learn German in Cologne! It is like a family for me learning with them for 7 months. They offer a lot of courses from intensive to stress-free, and also online courses. I love the small group environment to make sure of the progress and focus for every student. They also combining fun methodologies in their curriculum to avoid boring and dull moments mostly learning the beginner and intermediate levels. Lastly, the instructors are amazing and very friendly!
The insula is a unique language school with interactive teaching methods. Instead of using a generic book, the focus is more on the current knowledge of students present in a class, which are in my opinion, more efficient and practical compared to other conventional methods; Other than that, I find the efforts of expert teachers and energetic class environments therefore particularly motivating.
With Corona, i have found the Zoom format works a treat for me and allows me to cut out the travel and for me, i find the quality of the face-to-face just as good. All in all, recommend to those who want to enjoy learning German in a very good school.
